Didn't get 1gb with it but was still getting between 300mb and 400mb, which is still much better. Solidly built cable too; doesn't feel fragile at all.

Great for wited connection on newer latops

Needed to get work done that require heavy uploading. No matter how fast my laptop is, it's limited by the wifi speed. This make my upload speed fly.

I used it and it takes a few minutes for the driver to install, but once it is complete it works in seconds.

Needed to install WiFi driver
