I've tested on some windows 7 machines and there is a lag on the second screen with your mouse which can be annoying, but I've had a great experience with windows 10 devices.

Docking station for a laptop

Not as heavy duty as a Dell docking station, but it has performed the job with no issues to date.

It is very nice. Only gave 4 stars due to the VGA not having a 100% secure connection.

Home office solution

I have 2 monitors, one with a VGA connection and one with HDMI connection, plus a USB splitter to accommodate wireless mouse, headset, keyboard, and this little device handles it all.

A lot of laptops do not come with a wide variety of ports these day. Adding some kind of docking station will let you get the most out of your computer. The JUD380 is small enough to bring along when you need to take your laptop with you.

Didn't want to spend what the replacement would cost so I picked up this thing. Works exactly as I had hoped. Mind you, the unit this this replaced is a true dock, but this provides me with exactly what I needed at a reasonable price.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My All-In-One would not connect to a second monitor through the HDMIs and it was recommended I connect this product to the USB in my AIO then run an HDMI to the 2nd monitor. It worked beautifully. I can also can plug it into my Surface Dock and do the same. I had tried a similar dock that I found online, but it did not work.

Using this currently for a 3rd HDMI laptop screen and wireless charger. Does not require an external power source which is nice to reduce the amount of busy wires around the desk.

I bought this to connect a 2nd external monitor. Downloaded the driver, plugged in the new monitor and works instantly. My only gripe would be the VGA socket doesn’t have the screw holes in the hub so if you’re using a vga cable it might fall out of you keep jostling the wires. I had extra long zip ties and just zipped the cable to the hub so it doesn’t fall out when I’m plugging/unplugging my laptop.

Posted .Meeting your needs to work from home is what the JCD543 does best, thanks for the input. As for the VGA constantly losing connection; we understand, there are other adapters available that do have screws for VGA monitors and would value the chance to discuss them with you - our support information can be located on the packaging and a rep will be ready to assist.
