Perfect for adding 3rd monitor to my laptop

I already had a second monitor connected to my laptops hdmi output. I was able to connect my 3rd monitor using the VGA port. Very convenient having the different ports available on this docking station.

You have to make sure that you download the software for the J5 to properly function but it is worth the money when you do.

Small docking station

I purchased this product so I could utilize dual monitors since I am currently working from home. After I plugged into my laptop I was instructed to install drivers, which I could not do on my work computer due to the firewall. So, I am unable to use the product for its intended purpose until I figure out how to get around the firewall.

Decent Mini-Dock

However, I ended up returning it because it didn't work well through a USB-USB-C adapter. I needed a native USB-C Video adapter. IF you have standard USB, this should work fine.

Posted .For computers with only USB Type-A looking to add VGA, HDMI, Ethernet and 2 USB ports look no further; with the JUD380, you can have it all in one; simply download, install the driver and done.

Nice Mini Dock

Product kept running hot and finally failed on 10/15/2023. Did not last one year. It's a defective product if it overheats and fails before its product lifecycle. Customers should be able to receive box from Best Buy for defective product and ship it back for refund. Don't want a replacement - not reliable product. It should last longer. Do not recommend buying it because it overheats. This is not normal. The design should dissipate the heat, not heat up the unit. Only cools off, when its unplugged.

Good alternative to USBC hubs

Posted .HappyCamper, Due to the design and size of the JUD380, adding screw holes for the VGA port may have caused design flaws and therefore they were omitted. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused with looser connections. Laptop Dock on a Budget
