Posted .Newer computers only having USB-C can make things a little complicated and we're sorry to hear this was not a good fit. We have the JCD381 that connects via USB-C which will supply you with 2 HDMI ports, Ethernet and USB ports for accessories. I bought it to extend a display from my laptop, and to use wireless keyboard and mouse. All worked when hooked up. Only problem is that when the USB relays were plugged into the dock vs. directly into the laptop, there was serious lag and the connection sometimes felt dropped for 2 to 3 seconds.

When it comes to wireless mice and keyboards being connected to a USB 3.0 port, you may experience lag, jumping of the cursor which is due to radio waves produced by the USB 3.0 port and dongle clashing. For this, we recommend a wired, or Bluetooth instead. Be careful with Older machines
