This is fine, but I would have needed additional adapters to make this work for 2 monitors - If you only have one monitor you would like to use this would be a good purchase.

Works with my old Mac

Functional short cord

Video output works as expected. Wish I'd paid a bit more for one with more features and better performance.

Because the mini dock is bus-powered, a separate power source is not necessary for proper functionality.
