J5 Create Mini dock JUD380

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this JUD380 USB3.0 mini dock and am about to return it or burn it. The USB universal adapter for my wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse is very sluggish or wont work at all unless I place my keyboard right on top of he dock and keep my my mouse as close as I can to the dock. It is very frustrating. All works fine when I dont use the dock and plug directly in the USB port on my HP Notebook 15-dy1043dx. Is there anyone else hat has had this issue and found a reasonably priced dock that works normally that would could be recommended?

Posted .Deee, I'm sorry to hear the JUD380 is causing issues with your wireless mouse and keyboard. Sounds like a leaky waves situation which is when the USB 3.0 port gives off radio waves that interfere with the wireless dongle's radio waves causing sluggish/slow performance. For workarounds/recommendations, I recommend contacting the support team printed on the casing and a specialist will be glad to offer solutions. Overpriced, too few USB ports, and poor performing

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I selected this hub because of the ability to do VGA and HDMI and because I only have 1 USB port on my laptop. However what I didn't think about is that I was sacrificing one USB port to use this hub, so I only gained one port, which wasn't enough to use a keyboard, mouse, and USB headset at the same time. Not only that, but the Logitech wireless mouse was very jerky when using this hub. It works fine plugged in directly. The VGA port can only mirror what is shown on the laptop display, not have a separate screen. I have since bought a USB C hub from another manufacturer, which can show a different display on VGA, provides 4 USB ports, and the wireless mouse works fine, and it was about half the price online.

Served it's purpose

Also makes a pinging noise at startup. Not thrilled with the product but it has served its purpose so far.

Didn't work on one of my computers

This will only work with thunderbolt connection. Didn't see that anywhere on the description. Worked perfectly on my wife's laptop with regular USB connections.

Has it's flaws

When it works it does it really well but when it disconnects i have to restart the computer for it to work again.

I bought it a few days ago for my 2019 macbook pro running catalina os so I could add two external monitors. I chose this model so I could use it for my personal mac as well as my work laptop which is an hp, but after my experience with my home laptop I am going to return this as soon as I finish writing the review. I downloaded the driver, restarted the laptop like it said to do, then plugged in the dock. It appeared to work, until I moved a window from my laptop screen to one of the external monitors. After a few seconds the screen froze, then the signal cut out to both monitors simultaneously and everything appeared back on my laptop screen. Then it flickered again and the signal returned to the monitors. This cycles back and forth 4 or 5 times then it forces my laptop to restart. So I uninstalled, deleted, redownloaded, and reinstalled the driver. It worked slightly better this time, as I was able to get a few minutes of work done before the flickering started. But there is really no point to this device, I bought it to improve my workflow and it is nothing but a hindrance. I will never purchase anything from j5create again, and best buy should be ashamed to sell such a worthless product. I can't imagine that any of the 5 star reviews you see here are anything but bots given all the spelling and grammatical erros. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE!!!!
