I bought this product versus a much cheaper one, hoping it would allow me to connect from a MacBook Air to two Samsung monitors for my work set-up. Only one of my monitors works with this product. It is sometimes glitchy/unclear on the screen. Also, whenever there is any type of software update on my Mac (which happens often), it stops working. I will say that support is very responsive. It might be a great product, but it does not work well with my laptop/monitor situation.

Initially bought to utilize multiple monitors. But end up using all the ports as well.

Works great for adding additional monitors, wireless mouse and keyboards.

My Ethernet port dies on my laptop. It works great, and the video is an added bonsus!

I had to return the item because it was more than what I needed. I wish I couldve kept it.

I use this to plug in my mac every day. The mac doesn't have an ethernet port so this solution is great.

This thing is thumbs down. Consistently overheats, you have say, a Logitech dongle in it if it's not pointed the perfect way your Logitech device will not work. For the price this thing should have stood up and sing a song for me instead of just hanging there and hanging me up but as I said big fat thumbs down. Although I don't know how I would get my stupid laptop on the internet without it because llittle did I know the thing didn't come with any inputs...but that's another issue.

It works great but i needed more ports. I like it.

Needed the Ethernet port and appreciate the extra usb connections.

Customer service is horrible at store and so called corporate pay for service always find a way to charge you for something add insult to injury you want me to pay you upfront for service you have yet to perform no wonder the chain isn’t what it started as have made quite a few purchases large and small but weaning myself away because of poor customer service

Item works as expected. Besides my laptop screen I have two monitors attached. The extra ports come in handy.

Not much of a tech person but I can read instructions, which is all this seemed to require. I wanted it for the USB to hdmi capability - so I could connect an external monitor and use the USB outlets for other things. The USB port doesn't work with this Dell, so I have to revert to USB to VGA, and thanks to the dock it flickers like mad. Yes I've swapped cables, reversed which end goes where. Monitor just can't get a signal. I'll take this back after Covid - it's really just a dumb USB outlet at this point.

The whole reason I bought this was to have 2 monitors set up at home which this does work for. However, the VGA port doesn't have the ability to screw the VGA into this docking station so that item is loose and gets disconnected very easily with a little movement of the cables. Would also be nice to have just one more USB port. With a printer, two monitors, a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse, I am one port shy so I have to plug one in directly to my laptop. This can get a little tricky when trying to use the docking station and office set up for multiple laptops, as needed (e.g. one person in the AM, one in the evening).
