Leary of these after it blew out my computer!

Unfornately,the second J5 had a short or something wrong with it. When I plugged it into my computer, sparks flew and my computer was ruined! It was completely dead and would not come back on! When I called the manufacture, J5, their attitude was basically "oh, well sorry about your luck". I ended up having to buy a new computer! Now I am extremely leary of anytime I need to use one of their products.

It Worked As Expected

No power
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This adapter didn’t come with a power adapter so I had a problem with many of the items I was trying to plug in that fed power through the USB port (amazon Alexa was one). I eventually had to exchange it for the better option.

In such occasions, we recommend adding the 4 amp power adapter and that should be enough to get it working.
