Efficient inexpensive way to have add docking station to laptop. I have two one for connection at office one for home.

Does was it is supposed to. Using this currently for a 3rd HDMI laptop screen and wireless charger. Does not require an external power source which is nice to reduce the amount of busy wires around the desk.

My All-In-One would not connect to a second monitor through the HDMIs and it was recommended I connect this product to the USB in my AIO then run an HDMI to the 2nd monitor. It worked beautifully. I can also can plug it into my Surface Dock and do the same. I had tried a similar dock that I found online, but it did not work.

I’ve been working at home lately and my neck has been aching from using 1 monitor + laptop monitor. I bought this to connect a 2nd external monitor. Downloaded the driver, plugged in the new monitor and works instantly. My only gripe would be the VGA socket doesn’t have the screw holes in the hub so if you’re using a vga cable it might fall out of you keep jostling the wires. I had extra long zip ties and just zipped the cable to the hub so it doesn’t fall out when I’m plugging/unplugging my laptop.

Have an older laptop without the HDMI access. I wanted a tool that would help in numerous circumstances. Used it right away for a HDMI presentation link to a monitor in front of a masked and distanced seated group of 30 folks at The Houston Design Center.

The docking station worked as advertised. The original intent was to bypass a motherboard ethernet connection issue, which worked and allowed the machine to communicate with the outside world again. Having the other ports with it was a welcome bonus

This product worked just as I had hoped it would. I've connected two 23" screens and can move my charts across borders easily. With 8 plug-ins all being used on the side of my older Dell computer, I needed the extra "room."

I got this USB station because I needed to have an RJ45 connector for the Internet connection. I also had my wireless mouse and keyboard connected to it. The unit got really hot, and response was really slow with the mouse and keyboard. I got a different brand to use with another computer USB port, and the other peripherals work fine now. I still use this one for the Internet connection, and that's working fine. I'd go to a different brand and model if I had to do it over again.

works great and set up was easy. Questions on whether it would work for me were in part of the description which saved me time from having to call and ask questions.

I bought this to connect two external hard drives to my laptop. Oddly, neither hard drive would work when *both* were connected, but they would work just fine if only one of them was connected at a time. Turns out if you want to connect two external hard drives to a laptop, you must buy a "powered" adapter to do this. Laptops just don't have enough power to drive two hard drives at the same time.

Perfect for what I needed ——- More ports on my Google laptop. Plugged in and everything worked!!!

Great product if you have an older laptop that needs the connections. Used it for a work at home job and works perfectly fine vs other brands.

This product has given me extra ports on my laptop for the printer, work fob and whatever else I need it for.

In theory this is a great product, however I gave it a three as it does not work on Chromebook. It isn't obvious on the packaging that it doesn't either. I needed to be able to hook up my child's Chromebook to a monitor plus have extra USB ports for their extra stuff. Luckily for us we did find a monitor we could hook up to the Chromebook and not need the mini docking station. We just don't have the extra USB ports like this product would have provided.

This little thing saved my (work) life! When COVID19 hit, I bought this and connected my 2 extra monitors with my laptop to work from home. Easy to do for a non-techy like myself! Been working from home for over a month and a half now and have no issues.

Product works as expected. Was able to pick up in store same day.

The docking station does what it was intended but makes my surface hot when in use. In addition the sales person indicated that it also had a usb-c port and it did not. That was a power supply port. Since that was an important port that I was looking for, I was highly disappointed. I kept it because I also needed the HDMI port. So main issue is with the sales person than the product except that the company didn’t offer at the store all of what I needed.

This thing is awesome. I carried 3 adapters to do the exact same thing this does...and more. I use the Ethernet and HDMI at the same time with no issues. The only drawback, it’s not 4K capable but that’s ok with me.

Before using, you need to go their website and pull down their latest drivers. It will not do that for you. Next is the VGA connector. While it has all the proper pins and the cable plugs in OK, there are no places to screw the two jackscrews in the cable to hold it in place. Finally, the adapter includes a socket for power from a micro USB power supply, but the documentation provides zero direction for when you would ever need to provide external power (or how much). Its a bit on the pricey side to allow use of an older VGA monitor, but it has worked as advertized.

The docking station has made it easier to be able to charge more items at one time. The price of this docking station is less than if I bought all separate USB plugs.
