Like a lot of people, my wife has been working from home. I needed to add a second monitor and her laptop only had 1 HDMI output, so I bought this docking station. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and is small enough to not be in the way. The extra USB ports also came in handy...It seems like everything has a dongle these days! Maybe a little on the expensive side, but other than that, I am happy with the purchase.

Totally Plug and Play, no time to setup and works like a dream! It took me longer to find it and buy it online then to pick it up take it home plug it in and hang a 2nd Monitor (with USB Sound enabled, right thru the USB 2 HDMI Adapter) It's so delicious, I bought two now I am rocking two Dell Laptops with a total of 6 Screens (4 are 27 Inch FHD Dell Monitors and I did not have to buy the Dell Mega Business Port for three times the price and ultimately NOT compatible with the Dell (Non-Business) Laptops.

This product is great if you need three kinds of ports. If you need only one kind of port, though, it would be more cost effective to buy a product that only has the particular kind of port that you need.

I bought a new laptop and needed a standard USB dock. These are increasingly hard to find, but this one works very well for my purposes. It offers an additional HDMI port so I could connect my laptop to two external monitors. And the extra USB ports are convenient as well. The biggest drawback was that this dock costs me $70 on sale whereas many of the USB-C docks are significantly less expensive. Also it tends to get pretty hot after I've been on my computer for a while, so I fear that it may not last for too long.

We just got dual monitor in our study, but we have tree different users with three different laptops. This allows each of us to use both monitors, and keyboard and mouse, when we need it. The only issues is that you lose the monitors when the laptop hibernates. There's 2 solutions, though: 1) just unplug/re-plug when you wake up the laptop and your screens will come up or 2) there's a place for an A/C adapter to be plugged into that should keep it connected. For us, though, it hasn't been that serious.

This docking station is very small yet very mighty. It allows you to add several devices including OLDER model flat screens. It is amazing enhancement to newer laptops which only have one USB port. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is a nifty converter for multiple media devices that we needed to set up for my daughter's dorm. We left this plugged into another ethernet switch for the unreliable internet in her dorm hall. We'd heard that the WIFI would go down periodically and, of course, is there is only (1) ethernet data drop in her dorm. With this set up, this allowed her to gain ethernet access when the WIFI inevitably went down and simultaneously be able to print. Those (2) benefits alone were well worth the price. While her roommates were stalled from working, all she did was plug this little docking station into her computer and she was able to continue her studies. This was a major time saver and stress reliever.

This is great! My new laptop did not have enough ports. This allows me to connect my flash drive, wireless mouse & keyboard, and headphones at the same time.

Needed a docking station for my Surface Pro, and this did a great job for half the price of the official Microsoft docking solution. It gets hot after a few hours of use, but it hasn't failed to perform it's duties.

Bottom line is it works great for my application. Older Macbook Air (2017) that I wanted to connect a VGA monitor. That being said, two important things. The first is that only Google Chrome works for movies. I contacted tech support (they were great) and they explained why only movies wouldn't play using Safari. I switched to Google Chrome, and it works perfectly. Everything else works either through Chrome or Safari for internet web surfing. The second issue is there are no screw holes for the VGA adapter to USB docking station. I solved this by grabbing two of my daughter's elastic hair bands (rubber bands would work the same) and looped them around the VGA plug and docking station. Not necessarily an elegant solution, but it works.

works great for traveling when I do not want to bring my pluggable 2.0 with me. Compact, has enough plugs for my peripherals - especially my 2nd laptop monitor.

Wanted to connect a surface pro to 2 existing monitors while working from home during COVID. This was inexpensive way to do so and made working from the surface pro much more productive and less strain on the eyes! Only complaint was no pins to lock in the one monitor so had to rubber-band it onto the end connection. Little janky but it works.

Great Product. No Screw holes to secure VGA plug. Disconnects sound from Laptop for WebEx. Had to buy headphones, since my monitors didn't have sound either... Dock has a microUSB power booster that plugs directly into my Power strip's 2.4 USB port. No problems supporting two monitors in addition to my Lenovo ThinkPad laptop.

I used this to expand my laptop to 2 additional monitors. I just had to download the software from the j5create website and restart my computer. I used 1 HDMI cord direct to my laptop and the other used the HDMI connection on this docking station. The last step was to rearrange my monitors from the display page on my desktop. I don't duplicate my screens so this was just extending screen 1. I recommend this to anyone who needs a clean and easy way to work on multiple monitors.

Experienced no compatibility issues, and easily connected all necessary devices seamlessly. Great experience with this device. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a dock.

I had to return a different product brand to a different company because you would have had to be a tech wiz to make it work! This was easy! Simple instructions to download a file before plug/play for Win 10. It took at max 5 minutes to get it operating! I use it to plug my HDMI from computer to TV monitor, beautiful. For some reason my Lenovo computer didn't like having the HDMI plugged directly into it, so this is the perfect by-pass, works great, no problems!

Allows me to continue to use an older monitor (VGA) with my new laptop. Also multiplies the UDB ports.

Needed a simple but effective dock for the office to increase ports on my laptop Works great and is small enough to carry in a laptop bag. But don't let it's size fool you it was awesome does the job well

I use this to extend my computer monitors to a 4 screen setup. Very easy to use. Didn't even need the install disc as Windows 10 found it right away. I will say that you can't run two of these on the same computer, but you can run this and any other J5creat device. Has 1 VGA, 1 HDMI (Audio and Video), 2 USB 2.0 ports and an ethernet port. Only downside is that it must be plugged into a USB 3.0 or higher.

I tried this device out to link my PC, monitors and Xbox for streaming. As long as you have windows 10 this eliminates you having to have a capture device from Xbox to PC and will run less $$ then most of the high end capture devices. I did return it however to get one with two HDMI monitor outputs. In most cases that’s not necessary but I have several monitors pulled up so I can monitor various things while streaming. Great product and very easy to use.
