Although it does allow you to extend your desktop, I found that web pages with heavy content (adds or flash) had a significant impact on page performance when it (that page) was on the extended monitor. If you moved the page back to the main monitor...performance was returned. Chrome and Firefox pages seemed to suffer the most. With the need to have multiple applications open (hence the need for extending), the delay in response rate was not conducive to efficient activities.

After searching high and low, I found this great little gadget that allowed me to add another HDMI monitor to my laptop through a USB port. I had been told that it couldn't be done, but now I know it actually can! Works great!

I bought this to connect my computer to my tv since I do not have an HDMI port on it. It works wonderfully but it is a little on the expensive side.

Easy set up and functions as expected. Picture quality is great.

It's a very nice u it that is well protected via a metal case. It's easy to use and set up is very quick. Resolution is also accurate with no distortion around edges.

Works well on my new system that I needed to connect an additional monitor to. My system came with only an HDMI built in so this did the trick!

Other than some minor glitches downloading the software, everything works great. Would have been nice to be plug and play though. Video streams smoothly on projector.

This does the job. I couldn’t ask for anything more. If you’re in the market for this product I would highly recommend buying it.

I had purchased another adapter online, and couldn't locate the drivers to get it to work. This adapter set up quickly, and works like a champ. I've been using it for over a year now without any problems.

I use 2 external monitors with my laptop for work, and needed to find a way to accommodate the extra. This worked great and I am now more efficient than ever.

Very fast and easy way to use a HDMI capable monitor for a PC. Very portable, too. Little bit of input lag, as with any HDMI monitor. Reall depends upon monitor settings and capabilities.

Used to connect my lap top to the TV. Good quality, and constructed out of actual metal, not plastic. Connections are clean and fit well. It's now plugged in, working and forgotten, as it should be.

Got this since I have a thunderbolt audio interface, but also needed to connect my macbook pro to an external monitor. Works well with no issues so far.

I was using a micro-SD converter before I tried this adapter, as my laptop does not have an HDMI slot. This display adapter works a lot better. Been using for about 2-3 weeks now and have had no issues.
