I use it on a Mac Mini to get a third monitor. It's a bit laggy of course, but I park my email, calendar & music screens on it so it works great. I've had two issues with the Mac Mini seeing it on start up, but a reboot has fixed it.

I have a damaged mother board that makes my HDMI port useless. I can't afford to replace the whole PC due to this one deficiency. The Geek Squad tech suggested this option. I bought it, went home, plugged it in and "bam" I am back in business.

I got this because I wanted to watch movies on my tv from my computer and I thought the hdmi outlet on my tv was not working . Turns out I was only able to view picture that were loaded on my computer. This product is nice if you want to view pictures only but don't expect to be able to watch movies.

Allows me to present my laptop on my TV perfectly.

This is a very useful display adapter to take when traveling, to allow computers and other machines to connect to whatever display device may be available (since you take the computer, phone, etc., but not the display, with you when you travel!).

It works the only thing that caused me to return it was that we tried to play wow from our computer to our tv and it kept freezing so it didn't serve its purpose for us but it did everything else from movies to videos etc.

I added this to my laptop so I can watch movies while traveling. So many hotels are going to limited channels making it difficult to find something to enjoy when trying to wind down from the day. This allowed me to take my favorite DVDs and watch them right on the hotel TV. Great!

A little pricey for me, but worth the investment, since my old laptop doesn't have an HDMI connection. I wanted something that would allow both video and audio to go from the laptop to the TV, and this works!

This product worked as advertised. I have to unplug it every once in a while, as the mouse pointer pixalizes every once in a while on the screen that it controls. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

I needed to connect a projector to a Surface book. This was the only option at Best Buy. It came with an installation disc but the Surface has no drive so I had to search for downloadable drivers.

Item worked as promised, once installed, but customer service couldn't explain why my other docking station wouldn't work as well after this product was added. Makes a third monitor easy though.

My TV is old, so it was a bit hard to get it to work. So, I don't really recommend this product. It's also rather expensive for such a simple device.

Costly. Connects exactly how it should, however even with a wired connection, it's slow loading videos onto the TV, but video is fine from computer to monitor.

Noticing it said that you must install driver software from disk (I think a download option was there too) before plugging in the device, I think was key. Once driver install completed, it extended the desktop of a 23" AIO to a second 23" screen.

I used this to connect to my 2013 MacBook air USB 3.0 port. The display was definitely super delayedddddd. For $70, not worth it. (I also used it with a HD monitor, and still very delayed).

wanted to extend to dual monitors to work from home and this was just what the doctor ordered. using 28" television as monitors needed the hdmi connections and older desktop computer only had one. this adapter made it possible.

While trying to hook up an old monitor to a new computer, we bought this trying to accomplish the task. It took a little trial and error to get the screen working, but we figured it out.

It, was essential in helping me connect several of my componets.. It makes it easy to help me assist my Autistic Grandson, who has Parkinson's as well as turrettes, sorry that's misspelled..

Works great to add an extra monitor for most purposes. Worked great for the office. The drivers were just a slight but quirky but once installed, it has worked flawlessly.
