When I purchased this, I believed it would solve my issue of not being able to hook up an extra monitor to my Surface tablet. I tried this item, but could never get it to work with my monitor.

This allows me to connect my Macbook Pro to my monitor. However, my computer now crashes whereas it did not previously do this. Not happy with it. And it is expensive.

I downloaded the drivers and the connectivity just was slow and choppy. After several attempts of use I finally switched to mini display port.

I plugged in the connection and nothing happened. There are no specific instructions otherwise

Display resolution and contrast issues even after installing the required drivers. I should have gone apple on this one.

It worked but the picture was choppy and delayed so video and audio didnt sync up. Returned for different product

I have to constantly pull out the HDMI and replace in order to get my monitor to come on.

Had a hard time getting this setup up and work. Not plug and play friendly.

I am not certain if my computer was not compatible or I was doing something wrong. It seemed easy, plug and play in the USB port. I was not able to get it to work and returned the item.

had difficulty getting mirroring of video and then audio. got help from manufacturer.

This device was purchased on Geek Squad recommendation to allow a second monitor to use HDMI instead of VGA. It appeared to work on my desktop in the store. However, when at home it would not work. After a Geek Squad home visit, the tech couldn't get it to work as well.

Had to return this device as it did not work with XPS 13.

Did my research and purchased the item. Does not work with everything they say it does. Running a Macbook Pro OS 10.11, non-retina. Dont buy it. Go purchase a Matrox Dual Head2Go--its the ONLY thing that woks properly.

The usb to dvi adapter did work however the video was very slow, would frequently pause and also loose connection. Very unreliable and expensive way to get video from USB to HDMI

This product worked in terms of showing the pictures on the tv however not the audio. I had to return it even though the product stated it's compatible with a Apple it's not.

I returned the product after spending over six hours trying to connect it. It crashed my computer twice so I decided to return it. I am glad I did it. Never again.....

I had to give a presentation to a customer and did not have an hdmi port to connect to a display. Bought this device but couldn't get it to work at all.

The rotation did not work with mac laptops, no alert was displayed in the box. I just confirmed when accessing the product website...

I needed a way to add a second external monitor to my 2012 13 inch MacBook Pro. I bought this adaptor for that express purpose, since my other monitor was already using my Thunderbolt port. I have no complaints. I followed the instructions, installed the driver, restarted my computer, connected the adaptor to the display and then to my MacBook. Everything is working great and I finally have the two external monitors that I needed! The only thing I would improve with this product is having the manufacturer ditch the DVI Connector. It adds extra cost when everybody is moving to digital connections. I stay away from VGA/DVI and have stuck with HDMI as much as possible. It's an easier cable to connect, routes both audio/video, and provides a better connection. I bought this on sale at 55 plus tax but the product should be costing less than 50 dollars, to be honest.
