Posted .The HDMI is a Plug n Play port, no driver needed, However, computers must support "DisplayPort Alt Mode" over USB-C for video out. Please refer to the manufacturer of your computer for more information about your device

If not you will have to buy an adapter that Best Buy does not carry in order to use this with a standard USB port. Windows 10 auto installs any necessary drivers.

Not simple plug and play for me.

Power pass thru works fine as I see my Lenovo has power and the HDMI connection worked. None of the USB connectors are working. Plugged in my wireless mouse - nothing. Plugged in a monitor - nothing. Plugged in an external drive - nothing. Also on the j5 site, there is no driver found for the JCD533. Every other model has a driver but nothing for this one.

Posted .The JCD533 is a PnP device, no drivers are needed. However, computers must support DisplayPort Mode for video out over USB-C. Please make sure that the monitor is on the correct input source. Try testing a wired mouse instead wireless to avoid RFI. As for the HDD, it may require more power to function correctly if the pass-through charge does not provide enough power to the USB-A ports with a 100W power-brick attached. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance.
