My brand new laptop had only a micro SD card reader. When I realized it I thought I was going to have to return the laptop and buy a more expensive one containing a regular size SD card reader. This saved me. In addition I got many bonus ports. Very happy I bought this.

Works as expected. Kind of wish I got the one with 2 hdmi ports though. That said, suits my current home office setup. No issues with installation; plug and play.

This is both convenient and aesthetically ideal. I also like that the laptop is raised a bit when placed on top of this dock.

After a few months it wouldnt connect to my laptop when plugged in.

If you look at them side by side, this may be fine for you. The big brother has more inputs that I may never use but I do love the option.

The only thing I'd say is I wish I had bought the one with the two HDMI and with the display port. But it works and looks exactly as advertised.

I explained to the sales person I was setting up a home office with two monitors (plus my laptop). The new monitors I bought doesn’t have a usb port on them so I can only use one monitor. I would return and get a different one if I hadn’t already thrown away the packaging.

Posted .The USB to HDMI Display Adapter will only support (1) additional display via HDMI. Another option is the (JCD542) USB-C Dual HDMI Docking Station. The 4K HDMI port is a PnP, which will require DisplayPort Alt Mode and the non-4K HDMI port will require an installation of a driver for functionality. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab. Thank you.
