At first I wanted a different one that I may have to order online and cost more. But this is awsum good. I like how it raises the keyboard on on the /laptop instead of being in a stand next to the laptop. It works for me.

It offers enough of the necessary ports from where the laptop is lacking. Where it is getting a lower star rating is that on my second screen it appears to lose power to the screen before cycling it back on. It doesn't take too long to cycle, but the screen turns black for a while. I assume its a failure of the HDMI Docking Station. I also notice that it cycles and looses power to the USB ports too.

Decent Docking station for MacBook PRO

It sometimes causes a reboot on my computer as ports stop responding. Overall, a bit pricey for what you get but a reasonable good docking station

It was very useful because I was able to connect many items such as my printer and tv with my new Apple Mac computer also from Best Buy. Being behind on updates could cause the j5 device to not function as intended and in order to rule everything out we recommend contacting the Manufacture (of your computer) Support in order to have them assist you in properly updating your computer. The USB-C 4K HDMI Docking Station with Power Delivery is considered a Plug n Play, as well as a driver base device. PnP ports uses a computers hardware to function, such as features called DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery. We recommend to always check any available updates for your computer, especially it's BIOS. It's especially handy when I need to add external drives and be able to download photos through its card readers. Strong and sturdy construction. I highly recommend.
