I purchased this for my work setup but unfortunately you need to install display driver software to use both the HDMI ports on this device. My work laptop doesn’t allow installation of this software so I’ll have to return it. I WISH the need to install this additional software for basic functionality was mentioned somewhere in the product description.

Best hub I’ve purchased thus far. Easy set up, fast speed, and all the ports needed to work three monitors (two monitors & a laptop). Highly recommend!!!

After several months the device now makes a slight hissing noise and the second monitor hdmi port no longer works. Very disappointed that I now have to go a purchase another solution for my Macbook. Not enough USB/C ports. Stand was not very sturdy and constantly came off. Cant really support the purchase of this to others and I am on the fence about purchasing another product from this company.

The item works as described. We have tried other docking stations, but they just would not work right with multiple display monitors with our HP laptop. This one works great. The only issue we had is that it does not have a power cable included. It really did not say on the box and the rep said it was included because it showed the cable on the product picture. When we unboxed at home, no cable. We had to make a separate purchase for the cable on a different day. We are pleased with the performance of this unit.

Got it for my rog ally and it helps tremendously can connect whatever I want to it

The dock is a full feature, high quality docking station, for under $100. That alone is a perfect 5 stars. Add to that the wireless charger on top, and this is the most functional piece of tech I've bought in a long time!

It’s a great idea it just doesn’t work consistently. Sometimes it stops charging my laptop although the monitors still work. I have had my brand new laptop die while plugged into the docking station? I have a 135w charger plugged into the docking station as required but still have issues.

So far no issues. It runs of the Apple mini pc…..with no power cord. I have 3 harddrives comnected to it and the pc recognizes them all. File trans is easy from drive to drive.

Purchased this for use with my Mac. About 6 months after purchase device started a low volume hum. Annoying but still functional. After 18 months video port is no longer working. :-( That was main reason to purchase. So will skip J5create when I purchase a replacement. Probably from Apple this time - I learned my lesson. And yes a piece of electronics should last longer than 18 months.

I'm currently using this product, and all ports except the 4k60hz port are working. I have a g16 Strix which BOTH usb ports supports Displayport-Alt, and I have downloaded the driver which is the j5 USB Display Adapter 22.01.0602.3179. Even after downloading this driver, only the 4k30hz port works. I've been attempting to find solutions but to no avail since j5create does not have any solutions posted online or on their website. I would suggest that you look for another product that has a properly working driver to support dual displays

Works good so far. It needs to come with a power cord for the price I paid. Had to change my MAC setting for sound when using HDMI cable so I would have sound. Other than that, I still have to try hooking up printer, scanner, disk drive and flash drive.

It's a nice USB-C docking station, and the stand it comes with offers a space saving alternative if you need it. It advertises that it will wirelessly charge your smartphone.... IT WILL NOT. For the phone charging function to work, it requires a 65w power supply that is SOLD SEPARATELY. If you're choosing this product over another based on this charging feature, you'll be very disappointed - like I was.

I bought this as a docking station for my new macbook Air. A truly amazing addition. It dramatically expanded the options for my MacBook. I recommend it for it's connectivity especially for the price.

Doesn't have the ports needed to support a laptop the way is required. Sales person did not listen to me.

It works well and has lots of different ports. I hadn't realized until I set it up that it requires a software install on my computer - personal computer and work computer (which then needed approval and a system administrator to install).

This docking station was exactly what I needed, given the little space available to consolidate the various cables being utilized. It also freed up another peripheral for other operations.

I have a M1 24in iMac and this worked to have two extended displays with no problems. 3 stars bc the wireless charger never worked, despite powering it up as instructed. Could be a defect - but returning and will be purchasing something different.

very good docking station for iMac. Has everything I need to connect to my Mac. I like it because I can connect a big screen monitor and a larger wireless key board to my Mac book as well as external storage.
