Don't Believe the Box

I needed something that I could connect 2 monitors to my laptop with and offered power delivery. This seemed like the perfect solution. The packaging is deceptive and even though it allows up to a 140W charger, it does not allow enough power to pass through to my laptop using the OEM charger. As a result their support tried selling me on another $100 purchase of one of their higher wattage power adapters. When I questioned him about it and who I talk to because of the deceptive packaging, he disconnected from the chat. The packaging outright lies and mentions nothing of the higher rating needed to run it as well as charge your laptop. Had I not cleaned things out of the house while preparing for a hurricane, to include the box for this product, I would be returning it. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Posted .We advise no more than one (1) bus-powered/portable external hard disk drive to be connected to the adapter at a time. That note means the dock can only reliably power one portable (bus-powered) external hard drive at a time through its USB ports.
Bus-powered hard drives draw all their power directly from the dock’s USB port. When multiple drives try to pull power at once, the dock can’t supply enough current, which can cause the drives to disconnect, not be recognized, or run inconsistently.
We recommend using a self-powered drives when you’re connecting high-capacity HDDs, multiple drives, or running a drive through a USB hub/dock that might not supply enough current.

There could be a few more usb-c ports as my use for this product involves peripheral hardware, but overall I am pleased with this product.

I tried several different phones, and it didn’t work. I’d skip this model and get one without this feature.

Great Docking Station at Great Value!

Love the built in wireless charger. Nice and tidy on my desk. Overall 5 stars!

It took me a little longer to install the software but that’s because I’m not familiar with the Mac. Once installed it’s been easy sailing. I’m able to project using an hdmi from my laptop while also opening documents from a usb

For whatever reason after installation the software is screen recording which I do not like nor understand. Personal data can be breached.

Posted .When you install software that enables external displays or provides screen-sharing functionality, it will request Screen Recording permissions on your Mac. This is because the software needs the ability to capture and display the contents of your screen in order to extend or mirror it onto an external monitor or perform other related functions.
Not Tablet Compatible

This Docking Station makes a really loud noise as well. Everything online says that it should be plug and play and I was told by a Best Buy employee that it would be compatible and it's not.

Makes it easier to manage your cords. BUT also excellent for travel. Just small enough to fit in your backpack or briefcase so that you don’t have to compete for “plugs” in public spaces. One of the best items I’ve bought in a while, my spouse even bought one.
