Also the product would not work in clam shell mode based on the "beta" drivers. Spend the money and get a true thunderbolt 3 hdmi adapter.

Complicated and laggy

There's a series of steps you have to do before connecting the monitors or the ethernet port with the drivers. and the biggest problem is the latency, both monitors (high end editing monitors) were laggy as a 19FPS video in slowmo. If you are considering this adapter for gaming or video editing or even to play videos from YouTube, please choose another option.

Upon plugging into my Mac, I was unable to get video to work and ultimately learned that the device was not in fact set up to support video on a Mac. I ended up returning it, disappointed.

Not great for what it costs

While working on the computer I get a notice that my battery is almost dead. The plug just slips in an out. You would think for 100.00 it would be better quality.

Not only does it not support even a single monitor, the help j5create provides is abysmal. After an initial response with some limited suggestions, none of which worked, they refused to offer any additional help, even after reaching out through the e-mail they offered.

Requires Proprietary Software

The JCD381 requires software installation to output video signal to monitors, in the case where you have consulted with a product manufacturer technician and the issue persists, we recommend exchanging the JCD381 as it sounds defective. Does not work with Samsung DeX

Neither my Galaxy S23 Ultra nor my Galaxy Tab S7+ could connect to a monitor over the HDMI port. I tried two different cables and 3 different monitors. Without HDMI output, this thing is useless if you want to use Samsung DeX. I bought a different USB dock from a different manufacturer, and now Samsung DeX works fine.
