    This worked for setting up multiple monitors but it blocked the sound and microphone so could not use it when on calls or in meetings.

      In order to have the audio output through the device that you would prefer, it will require that you change the "Default playback device" for your computer. Select System > Select Sound > From the drop-down menu under “Choose your output device”, select a device. E.g. Speakers (USB Audio), (Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio). Move the volume bar under “Master Volume” Repeat steps 4 & 5 until you hear audio coming through your preferred playback device. At this point, the audio should play through the device that was selected. j5create

    On hdmi port stopped working on day 16. I couldn’t not return due to the 15 day return policy.

      The USB-C Dual HDMI Mini Dock requires a driver for functionality. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver once more.     Since the new computers do not have USB ports, purchasing add-ons was required. This unit fit the bill.

    I purchased this item in December of 2021 and one of the HDMI ports stopped working. Im a research analyst and use 3 screens for work.

    Decent Docking Station. The only issue is hooking up both HDMI ports to two monitors. Can not do split screen with MacBook

      Proper installation of the software for the JCD381 can be confusing for Mac users - we understand and wish to assist. If you are unable to split screens i.e. use extend mode, it could be because the driver was corrupted during the install and there could be numerous reasons for this outcome to include having the JCD381 connected to the Mac during the install. In order to best assist you and get the adapter working as intended, we would love the chance to troubleshoot with you.       The USB-C Dual HDMI Mini Dock is not compatible to IOS devices. The Dock requires an installation of a driver. Drivers are only available for Windows and Mac platforms. j5create

      Jane, if you are using a wireless mouse and keyboard, this could be the result of leaky waves. This is when wireless peripherals are connected into a USB 3.0 port and radio waves are interfering, resulting in this lag and at times glitchy performance. For this, we recommend using a wired mouse and keyboard. I regret to hear about your experience with the JCD381.     This product failed after a short time after the warranty expired. And the company would not replace it. I would never buy this product again

    Junk, this unit needs a driver and it is a pain to use. When it worked it was just ok then it just stopped working.

      Bobh, in the case where the JCD381 was working properly and now it is not, this could be due to system updates that may have taken place, or cables going bad.
