All devoces have connected seamlessly. I use at least 3 different ports at a time for an extended period and have never had a problem.

The new laptop only has 2 USB ports, I need more USB ports! I talked to a GEEK SQUAD technician and he recommended purchasing the j5create which I did. I now have enough USB ports to run my mouse, printer, LG DVD WRITER, and my KOOTEK cooling stand.

With a modern USB C capable laptop, plugging in and using it is a breeze, and so far it seems rock solid.

I have used it to connect my MacBook Pro to a CAT 6 cable, HDMI cable and multiple USB devices. All of them worked every time without and setup. It is well worth the cost.

This thing is awesome, has a lot of features, but the price is still a bit steep for something that should be included with a brand new computer, especially from a company like apple. It's a bit cheaper than other alternatives so that's nice, but yeah it'll still put a bit of a dent in your wallet

But everybody always needs that little something extra to make a hook up, right? The picture was misleading; it looks like you a female/male USB-C connector but, no, it's wired to the unit. I needed the female out for my set up. So it took an Amazon visit to get a female-female to complete my need. Other than that, having the video/data punch that I needed, it's working just as designed. A little pricey but it does the trick.

Knocked off a star because it gets a bit warm.

who knew you needed another gadget

There were others that connected directly to the laptop but this seemed less likely to overheat.

Mine plugged in super easy and works like a charm. For the additional USB’s you get I think its a worthy product to invest into.
