Posted .The USB-C Multi-Port Hub with Power Delivery will get warm when it's transferring data or charging devices connected to it, particularly if you have several things connected at once. The constant transfer between the two causes the heat up as it takes energy to move data. Through repetitive use, excess energy is used and transformed into heat. As for the "micro chip", not sure what this is, unless you mean a memory card/micro SD card. Please contact our Technical Support Team, so that they can get more information from you. Posted .The JCD373 supports up to 100W Power Delivery (PD), but your laptop may require a higher wattage than your charger provides. Use a higher-wattage USB-C power adapter that matches or exceeds your laptop’s original charger.
