Not what i was expecting

Posted .The JCD373 support video output and USB accessories on many devices, phone compatibility depends on the phone’s hardware and software. Not all phones support external display output or keyboard/mouse input over USB-C, and some require specific settings or on-screen permissions to be enabled first, which can be difficult or impossible to do when the screen is cracked or unresponsive.

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.USB and audio ports don't work as consistently as the small dongles I received with my Dell laptop - for example, I can connect my external CD/DVD drive to my laptop with the dongle that came with the laptop, but not with the j5create multi-port hub. However, the HDMI port is helpful and has worked well so far.

I will need to buy a larger one eventually, but for now I just unplug my external monitor on the rare occasions I'm short.

One of the 5Gbps ports could have been USB-C rather than A and it would have been perfect.
