Posted .The USB-C port on the Hub provides PD charging to a computer. The HDMI port requires DisplayPort Alt Mode to transmit video signals using DisplayPort technology. Please confirm that your laptop’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort and PD charging. Thank you.

We had to reboot the bike computer we had plugged in to recharge. Will be returning this. Would not recommend for use with MacBook Air.

However, it's not optimized for frequent hot-plugging of sensitive devices like a bike computer while in use.

Cord is also stiff and has to be kinked to fit which also seems like it would not last.

Plug in an Ethernet connect and the mouse stops working. Do not buy this. I took mine back and bought a Hyper docking station instead. Much better.

Tried a memory card in it and it wouldn’t pick that up either.

Didn't Do what I Hoped

It didn't work. It could be that my older super drive just isn't compatible with the new Macs.

Posted .Unfortunately, in our experience, we have been able to determine that the Apple Superdrive is not compatible with j5create USB adapters and hubs. Additionally, we have found that Apple advises against using USB hubs to connect the Apple Superdrive to Apple Mac computers. Apples states the following, "Plug in the SuperDrive directly to the computer's USB port. Don't use a USB hub." Thank you.

HDMI eventually quit working

- Swap the HDMI cable with another one to rule out a faulty cable.
- Test the monitor with another device to ensure it’s working properly.
