Posted .The USB-C to 4K HDMI Cable requires an available USB-C port that supports DisplayPort v1.2 Alt Mode features to transmit audio and video signals from a computer, tablet or mobile phone's USB-C port. For this cable to function it must be plugged into a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode. Not all USB-C ports support display port alternate mode. Does not work on a Macbook Pro 2018

Posted .The video cable is a PnP device. Please make sure your computer is up to date on any software, hardware, BIOS your computer may have. Being behind on updates could cause the j5 device to not function as intended and in order to rule everything out we recommend contacting the Manufacture (of your computer) Support in order to have them assist you in properly updating your computer. Once completed and still no change, please contact our support team by Live Chat or Email and a specialist will be ready to assist in resolving this. Please keep in mind, if your phone does not support video output via USB-C, this cable will not work for you. Model JUA165C will work with those phones that do not support DP alt-mode. To use the JCD153G you need to plug it into a USB-C port that supports a feature called display port alternate mode. Not all USB-C ports have this feature. You will need to check your computers specifications to see if it has this feature.

Posted .Kunal, because the JCC153G is a plug and play model, it requires that your phone support video output capability via USB-C. Because of the limitation here, we recommend the JUA165C and when you download the required app on your phone, that will allow connectivity to a display. Posted .Unfortunately, the Video Cable will not work with Samsung A series phones. It does not support DisplayPort over USB type-C for video out when connecting via HDMI.
