Posted .The USB-C to 4K HDMI Cable is designed to connect USB-C-enabled devices to an HDMI display. However, older Apple Cinema Displays typically use Mini DisplayPort or DVI connections, not HDMI. This means the JCC153G cable would not directly work with your Apple Cinema Display unless your display has been adapted to HDMI input.

Posted .Adding another screen to your computer is now easy to do - simply connect the USB-C to your DP alt-mode/thunderbolt 3 supporting device, the HDMI to the TV, monitor, projector and you're done.

I left this item at the cash register and when I called the store, the guy that answered the phone immediately said he hadn't seen it. Didn't even look. I wouldn't recommend this store location to a friend. Can't tell you about the product since I never made it home with the cable.

Wrong Cord

For this cord to work it needs to be plugged into a USB-C port that supports a feature called display port alternate mode. Not all smartphones have this feature. I hope that this clears up what was going on.

Bought this cable to mirror my Samsung S20 Ultra plus phone to the TV. It works, it'll mirror, but the program, the software behind it isn't good. Very difficult to navigate. Time consuming to properly use. Do not buy.
