The highlight of this purchase was Best Buy's customer service. During this pandemic, I ordered the part online - it was ready within minutes and it was given to me out front of the store. Excellent job, Best Buy in Stafford Marketplace, VA.

The video quality of cord and picture quality are good and I could do a lot of work using the cord. I highly recommend this cord for all Apple users. This cord would also work with other Apple Devices that uses the USB-C port.

Keeps old school HDMI/display port monitors alive

It took a few clicks in Windows 10 to get the equipment to recognize things but it did work and worked well.

Was able to do a zoom party to a flatscreen TV for my dads 80th birthday using the iPad and worked out great! Even though not apple product it is compatible and slightly cheaper which is a plus

Worked perfct with Samsung Note 9

Wanted to utilize Samsung dex as well as stream Hulu from my phone and it worked great. Some of the Amazon cords didn't work and so I just came to the place where I knew satisfaction was guaranteed. Very pricey, there were cheaper options I found later online but I needed it now.

Just a lifesaver; especially since it happened on a weekend, and my Geek squad appointment wasn't until Monday!

(note: had to switch tv input from PC which worked on old laptop to the correct HDMI input, e.g., HDMI3)

The hdmi connection end is about 1.5 inches long and thus sticks out of the back of the monitor. You might want to get a 90 degree adapter if you don't have the room to spare. Once the computer started, everything went well. The screen looked just as good as it did when I connected the monitor and computer with an hdmi cable between their respective hdmi ports. My only complaint was that I was never able to get the monitor to run at 60 Hz instead of 30 Hz when using the thunderbolt 3 to hdmi cable. Using an hdmi to hdmi connection did allow me to run the monitor at 60Hz, but the screen remained black when trying to use the thunderbolt 3 configuration. I'll keep the cable because it allows me to run my chromebook, which has only usb c ports, with my monitor. Otherwise, I would probably return it.

The gentleman at Best Buy recommended this product over the one I was looking at. There was no need for an adapter this product connected straight from my laptop to the TV. I love this cord.
