This cable is ideal for using with Samsung Dex. It is a direct connection from USB-C to HDMI. The USB-C plug needs to be plugged into a port that support display port alternate mode. We appreciate your review.

It does the job, and is long enough to put the laptop on a secure surface near the tv. I’ve used it with both a 2016 MacBookPro and a chrome book.

Hence, plug this cable into your, say, laptop's Thunderbolt port, and the HDMI end into your TV and you have sound and video.

Some newer phones and tablets also have this feature as well (Displayport Alternate Mode is what the feature is called). So you can mirror your phone or tablet to your TV for streaming. We appreciate that you took the time to post a review.

Great to watch TV from Phone

It lets me use 2 monitors at once. I would have liked for it to be black or a darker color to match all the other cords I have.

Posted .Need to add monitors to your laptop?, look no further; with the JCC153G cable, simply connect to the computer's DP alt-mode supporting USB-C port, the HDMI male end into the monitor and you're all set!.
