With new laptop with only USB and USB-C connections, this product was just what we needed to hook up older monitor. Best Buy price matched to make it an even better deal.

Just a quick note it only works on newer macbook air not really sure of the year but you might want to check with a representative at the store before you buy.

Great for streaming from your phone to your tv

It really works with long cable so you could move your laptop away from the TV set.
