Posted .Charging the device while streaming to a TV, monitor, projector is something j5create is working on and in the future will be providing newer devices for; for the time being, we do have other device such as the JCA379 that does indeed provide charging while providing an additional monitor for viewing if you're interested.

I went into Best Buy looking for a display cord for my monitor. He looked at pictures of my monitor and made sure I got exactly what I needed for my equipment. He was super courteous, knowledgeable, and willing to go over to customers.

It is great to hear that it was easy to use. Regarding losing the ability to adjust contrast; some monitors will adjust the display settings to what it considers “optimal” depending on the display input. You may want to see if you can change display settings with your video card, or contact LG for assistance.
