Yes, this cable is ideal for mirroring a smartphone or tablet to a larger display. It is also great for laptops that can transmit a video signal over USB type C. Good to hear that it was easy to use and it is working out for you.

Purchased it to use as a docking station for my laptop. Really don't need it with the new HDMI technology. All-in-all it works as advertised.

It was needing a different size on one end than the one I had for my old chromebook. So I went and bought one at the neigborhood Best Buy.
