Purchased it to use as a docking station for my laptop. Really don't need it with the new HDMI technology. All-in-all it works as advertised.

This USB-C to HDMI conversion cable is plug and play. You however must use this cable with a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode. Great to hear that the cable is working out for you.
