I would advise to wait some time after turning TV off to disconnect, because the metal connector parts got hot to touch.

Solid cable for using my laptop with a tv

Great versatility and simple

Scaling being improper on the display can be as simple as a button on your monitor to adjust aspect ratio, or going to the display settings and changing the resolution. Either way, technical support is only a call, ticket, or chat session away; our contact information can be found on the packaging to speak with an agent and they will be more than happy to assist in getting the adapter working properly.
