Not only is the JCC153 cable good for adding an additional monitor it is great for mirroring a phone or tablet to a large display like a television. There is no driver software to install for this cable. However, it must be plugged in to a USB type C port on your computer or device that supports display port alternate mode. Issues with Connecting to Samsung Galaxy Tablet

I've tried to restart my tablet to and tried to connect it again and it won't connect. It will connect to my phone but not the tablet

Posted .The USB-C to 4K HDMI cable requires that the host device (your tablet) supports USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode, which allows video output over USB-C.
Your phone supports DP Alt Mode, so the cable works with it.
