Set up the monitors all is working well. The first thing I noticed when I connected my monitors is that a warning flashed on the screen to use "the right cables". Kinda threw me back, just ignored it as it was working. Two days passed, I was working on a project and bamn, one monitor just went dark. Long story short, called Apple support and was asked what cables was I using, when I told the Apple tec, he told me it was the cables. He suggested ANKER cables, they are the best to work with Apple products. Ordered ANKER cables USB Type C to HDMI, viola! No warning messages and no monitor black outs. PC these cables work great, Apple products NOT AT ALL!

Perfect solution for displaying Chromebook

I bought it to use my switch on my TV and it wasn't the correct usage for this cable. Although the plugs were the correct inputs, it didn't have the ability to cast directly from my switch to my TV.

Posted .The USB-C to 4K HDMI Cable is designed to work with USB-C devices that support DisplayPort Alt Mode, like some laptops, tablets, and phones—but not the Switch in the way you were hoping.

We appreciate your feedback on the cable. It is plug and play so there is no complicated set up to make it work. You just need to plug it into a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode.

iMac to Surface Pro is not a standard display connection. There may be some advanced configuration needed to make that work. The JCC153G is designed to connect a USB-C video port to and HDMI input on a display.
