      Not only is the JCC153 cable good for adding an additional monitor it is great for mirroring a phone or tablet to a large display like a television. There is no driver software to install for this cable. However, it must be plugged in to a USB type C port on your computer or device that supports display port alternate mode.     I purchased this cable to use on my Samsung s21 ultra for DEX. But found it would not work on most monitors or tvs. Not sure what the fault is.. it diddnt work on my 4k gaming monitor but it did work on my tcl Roku tv. It's very hit and miss for this application. Returned since I couldn't trust when it would work
