Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The cable worked perfect for about 9 months then it started to have issues maintaining connection between my laptop and monitor, i was also able to use it to stream movies and images onto my TV. overall the cable is good and although it had a short lifespan with me i believe if cared for properly it could last much longer.
