Please keep in mind, if your phone does not support video output via USB-C, this cable will not work for you. Model JUA165C will work with those phones that do not support DP alt-mode. To use the JCD153G you need to plug it into a USB-C port that supports a feature called display port alternate mode. Not all USB-C ports have this feature. You will need to check your computers specifications to see if it has this feature.

Posted .Unfortunately, the Video Cable will not work with Samsung A series phones. It does not support DisplayPort over USB type-C for video out when connecting via HDMI.

Posted .Kunal, because the JCC153G is a plug and play model, it requires that your phone support video output capability via USB-C. Because of the limitation here, we recommend the JUA165C and when you download the required app on your phone, that will allow connectivity to a display. The JCC153G is a plug and play device, however it does require that your phone have a UJSB-C port that supports a feature called display port alternate mode. Not all USB-C ports support this feature. Your phone, computer or tablet requires video output capabilities via USB-C. In the case the device does not support such feature, this will not work.
