Totally defeats the purpose.

Will not support more than one monitor IF THE MONITORS ARE THE SAME MODEL!!! This info from my chat with j5create technical support: Are your monitors the same brand? Yes. New Samsung 24" monitors I spoke with my technical team, and it seems this issue is a common issue with our device, the issue is there is a glitch when both monitors are the same brand and model. We are currently working to fix this issue but we do not have a current solution. We suggest switching one of your monitors for a different brand or model. If that is not an option, we recommend returning the device. We apologize for the inconvenience

Despite following all instructions to the letter and spending an additional 1.5 hours troubleshooting, never got it to work. Was simply trying to connect two external displays to my iMac. Don't waste your money or time.
