I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software, completely reset my Mac, and still it shuts off if I attempt to connect a second screen.

Posted .The USB-C to Dual HDMI Multi-Monitor Adapter will not work on an iPad. This device requires an installation of a driver and is only available for Windows and MacOS, not for IOS devices. If the iPad supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can go with a PnP device which do not use drivers. The JCC155G, JCA379, JCD612, JTS224 are some options available for iPads. Thank you.

Will not support more than one monitor IF THE MONITORS ARE THE SAME MODEL!!! This info from my chat with j5create technical support: Are your monitors the same brand? Yes. New Samsung 24" monitors I spoke with my technical team, and it seems this issue is a common issue with our device, the issue is there is a glitch when both monitors are the same brand and model. We are currently working to fix this issue but we do not have a current solution. We suggest switching one of your monitors for a different brand or model. If that is not an option, we recommend returning the device. We apologize for the inconvenience

Totally defeats the purpose.
