If you’re Mac or PC will not accept external monitors with a plug and play. I don’t like that you have to download a plug-in and except screen recording for it to work.

Hit & Miss with this adapter

I had the Best Buy gurus on the phone for over an hour trying to figure out why my monitor was not connecting to my laptop. Took it back to the store and they switched it out with a less expensive brand which worked immediately!

Once you install the drivers it seems to work ok. The main drawback for me is that the monitors don't seem to detect when the computer goes to sleep and they continue to display whatever was on them when the computer went to sleep. The same monitors on my previous setup did not have this issue. Additionally, since this a work computer this is also a security risk.

They said their company will not support new OS for apple products and no known timeframe or if they ever will. Not for apple. My intention was for use with my MacBook Pro.
