This helped me hook up to my TV so that i could transfer my data to a new phone. The screen on my old phone was black/dead. This saved my butt.

It seems as though it doesn’t recognize that there is an HDMI connector going to a TV. Other than that, the USB3 works really well.

Posted .In cases where the HDMI is not outputting video signal to a TV, monitor, or projector with the JCA379, it is possible your device in question does not support video output via USB-C. In this scenario, we would recommend other models that will work for you. For some reason apple doesn't put the ports needed on an already high price equipment. She has not experienced any issues with it. Works great.

Necessity when purchasing latest model mac laptop

Posted .Greetings Kyam, if the JCA379 device is connected to a computer and the phone is connected to the USB - A port, it's possible that there is not enough power going to our j5 device to charge your phone using the USB - A port.
