Easy to add a second display and power a MacBook. I use a USB hub to get more ports. Works well.

Don't know why Apple is moving away from multiple ports but this adapter is super helpful. Never seen a thumb drive that is anything but USB. Plug into any printer or TV and not have to hassle with passwords. This little adapter comes with me and my new laptop so I can actually use it.

Best Buy this USB is my first most loved purchase because it is my first time using this type of devise. I just plug it into my computer and the other end to the other plugin that goes to the TV. Wow I watch TV movies all day long and I can go to my Hotel and use it on their TV too so convenient.

Does what it’s supposed to do and reliable. The added ports have made my new device more portable and less restrictive

I bought a lenovo yogo 920 laptop and it lacks ports. This was great. Plugs into the C-usb and splits it into 1 USB, 1 HDMI, and 1 C-usb. I have had zero problems with this. Also they have this product a little cheaper on the manufactures website so don't forget to price match!

I needed an adapter to connect my Apple laptop to an external monitor. This adapter was the perfect solution: basically plug & play easy connections. Which I had found a similar model when I purchased a j5create adapter for my HP laptop. I also like that it has a USB port as well. The price was reasonable for quality and ease of function.

This does not provide enough power to also charge a phone while a wireless mouse/keyboard are connected to the USB port and an HDMI cable is connected to it and a smart TV. My Samsung charger and USB-C cable does work with it, but it draws more power than it passes to the attached phone to keep it charged. It does work very well if I placed the phone on a wireless charger. This allowed me to work around the adapter's power issue. I tried a competitor's adapter and did not experience a charge issue. It is a great device for using Samsung DeX, but power your device with a wireless charger. It is still a next adapter if you have a wireless charger and need the USB port for a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Purchased a EPSON projector to use with our Apple Mac computer. This adapter was inexpensive, easy to use and functioned perfectly!

I was really impressed with the product - it was straightforward and didn't have any complications. It turned out to be quite resourceful, which was a pleasant surprise. I searched through multiple stores, but I could only find this particular product at Best Buy, and the price was really reasonable considering what they were offering. I would definitely give it 5 stars!

I am extremely pleased with this j5create USB Type C to HDMI external video adapter with Power Delivery. This product works exactly as advertised. I plug the main USB type C end into my phone (Galaxy S21 Ultra) or tablet(Galaxy S7+), hook a mouse into USB Type A port on back, and plug in monitor with HDMI port, and that's it. Now, there are some basic limitations of the adapter. it supports up to 4K 30HZ or 1440P 60 HZ. If you have a HRR Monitor, this adapter will not be able to take advantage of that high refresh rate. This works perfectly for Samsung Dex at 1440P 60HZ and gives the ability to use a wired mouse or one with a dongle. I have found Bluetooth mice do not always work with all the different apps of mobile operating system. So I prefer wired. The USB Type C port on the back is only for hooking to power adapter to charge devices hooked in. You can get up to 60 watts combined when hooked to a compatible charger which is basically any USB Power Delivery compatible charger. Pretty much all PD chargers support the basic standards that would apply here. Although worth noting, I have a 100 watt 4 port PD charger with 2 Type C and 2 Type A ports that supports PD 3.0, QC 3.0, PPS, and Samsung Super Fast. Both Type C ports are fully capable of delivering 100 watts, or any charging standard in between. When I plug just the tablet or phone in to the adapter, I get full power charging (45 watts) but as soon as I plug in my mouse , the charging speed drops immensely. My guess would be 15 watts or less, charging time increases accordingly. My guess is that even though the adapter claims to offer up to 60 watts, that is with one device hooked in. With 2 devices it seems it defaults to basic charging speed. Sometimes depending what I am doing the phone or tablet will not gain much charge at all. Overall I am happy with this adapter, I have used many other adapters and cables trying to find the best one. They all have compromises somewhere, This product by j5 Create seems to be as good or better than therest.

The J5Create Power Delivery has been a game-changer! Our laptop is a few years old, and there are some issues with the keyboard. The adapter allows us to use an external keyboard and mouse, to continue making progress with school and personal ventures.

I'd been working from home part-time for years prior to the pandemic and I'd been working on a tablet. I wanted a larger screen to work on and wanted to use a monitor to see better with my aging eyes. I needed this adapter for that purpose. It definitely gets the job done and is very easy to use. Great buy for me!

Works well with my MacBook Pro w/Apple M1 chip and two different Dell monitors (one model at work, another at home). I had issues with the monitor detecting the laptop after unlocking it or waking it from sleep but disabling the input auto detect on the monitor and selecting HDMI input resolved the problem. Also works fine with my USB external hard drive.

I bought this because my phone's screen broke and needed to hook up a mouse and external display to be able to navigate the phone and get everything off it for my new phone. Although it is important to note that this is useless if your screen has a lock or fingerprint sensor that wont work. I got lucky that my screen was black but the fingerprint still worked.

Handy device for connecting various devices, yet small and protable. Great item to carry in my bag for use with my Dell tablet, Ipad or Macbook so all can be used with large monitor. Good for travel too.

I bought this for my work computer so I could connect a wireless mouse, high-end tablet, and external projector simultaneously. I was not optimistic about its performance but was very pleasantly surprised. It has been working flawlessly for well over a year, even after taking some physical abuse.

I use this adapter with my MacBook Pro, and it works perfectly.
