So far I have not tried it. I did have to go back and do an exchange as my salesman forgot that apple changed the charging port on my model I pad. Not really a big deal except the other adapter would not work. I don't have an opinion on how it works at this time.

Posted .The JCA379 will allow you to add a monitor, a USB-A port, and it will allow you to charge your tablet through the USB-C port. This adapter will let you get a lot more functionality out of your tablet.

Didnt work woth my iPads….

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this because it was on sale and i wanted a smaller dongle for my iPad 12.9” M1 and 6th gen mini. They both have USB-C and i have another dongle that works, but its a bit heavier. When i plugged this into the iPads, with it connected to my 32” monitor, it showed nothing. It did charge them if i plugged in a USB-C power source. Because i got this for the HDMI feature, i didnt wven bother testing the USB port. This works fine with my Macbook and Surface Go laptop. If you want it for just a computer, it seems to work, but i cant speak for the longevity of the produxt eithet becaue im returning it.
