    Defective after a few months

    Worked great for 3 or 4 months, the screen with the adapter started randomly turning on and off about a month ago, and today the adapter just stopped working completely. Go for a better brand

    Does not work for Netflix Or Hulu

    I bought this to be able to watch Netflix and Hulu on the tv but it does not work at all for them or for Disney + . I would not recommend this for anyone who wants to do that with there phone .

      Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It sounds like you are running into an HDCP compliance issue. In order for subscription based services to be displayed onto an external display from your computer or phone, your setup, from devices to cables to adapters to software drivers and displays, must all be HDCP compliant.
      We confirm that j5create USB display adapters are HDCP complaint.
      A few troubleshooting steps that you may want to try:
      Ensure your Internet web browser is fully up-to-date
      Test with another Internet web browser, e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox
      Cross-test with a different HDMI cable
      Connect the HDMI cable into a different HDMI input port on the display
      Restart the device and display

    after a use of this device for about almost a month it now does not work at all it doesn't display my capture card it breaks up in sound every second I would not recommend!

    Black Screen / MacBook Pro 2017

    Do not buy, We used this adapter on a MacBook Pro (2017) and it does not stay connected. It is a hit or miss to actually get this adapter to work. Often I would experience black screens when using this adapter.

    Device works, but constantly shuts itself off and takes a few minutes to reset. Impossible to ise for even the simplest of tasks

    didn't know this project doesnt work with Mac products until several attempts to get it to work, then their tech support told us it doesnt 'talk' to the mac yet.

    I would not recommend this just because it is too hard to set up. The product information and setup guide was not readily available online, you have to dig and research. I ended up returning it and going with insignia which works perfectly and is cost effective

    Unable to use and it was recommended fr the wrong thing. Not at all what I asked for sales person was not friendly and definitely made me feel like my purchase did not matter. Very disappointed.

    It does not work even with Pixel 2

    I was told it would allow me to project video out to tv. Why would you ask did I not use Google Cast. Because I travel an hotels have restricted Wi-Fi's that do not allow me to join cast to my phone.

    Plugged item to my phone and a power cord to the item, streamed a show from my phone to the tv but a lil over halfway through the show my phone died. Pretty much like it wasnt even charging my phone while it was being used. I'll stick screen mirroring instead of using this product

If you had the charger connected to the JCA379 and it was not charging, this could be due to you needing a higher wattage power adapter. The JCA379 is capable of supporting up to 60 watts of pass through charging; if you wish to obtain more information as to what could have caused this, please reach out to our support team printed on the casing and a rep will be more than happy to help.

    Went in shopping around looking to purchase a good quality USB Type-C to HDMI. This is not good quality. Only works when it wants. Couldnt return because I opened the package after the return by date. Ive used maybe 3 times.

    It almost fried my computer, shut down everything and did not re-boot when I tried. Had to remove it and use a different hdmi and that worked. Will be returning it

    Does not work with MacBook Pro. When it did not work, I was told that I should never have been sold it. It was passed 30 days before I used it and was out of luck for replacement.

    My Samsung Galaxy 10 cell phone's USB-C cable would not stay connected to the adapter. The adapter would intermittently recognize the connection.
