Don't waste your money.

It is a Plug n Play devices and does not require an installation of a driver but a computer must support that feature to function properly. Posted .Device allows you to add an additional USB 3.0, HDMI monitor, and USB-C that can be charged through your USB-C port. Check on any available updates for your computer such as Bios, chipset, etc..

The JCA379 requires a feature called Display Port Alternate Mode to work. Not all USB-C ports have this feature, you will need to check your device’s manufacturer specifications. I regret to hear that you had to return the adapter.

Posted .Roland, depending on the device you are attempting to use the JCA379 with, it may or may not work. The JCA379 being a plug-and-play requires that your tablet, phone or computer support video output & pass through charging via USB-C; if the device you are using does not support such capabilities, the JCA379 will not output video or support pass through charging.
