This could be due to your tablet not supporting video output via USB-C and in such cases, we would recommend the JUA165C instead. Posted .Marisol, in the case where the JCA379 has stopped working after only a month, we recommend reaching out to the support team printed on the casing to speak with a rep. The JCA379 does come with a manufacturer's 2 year warranty and we will be glad to exchange it for you.

Could not get to work

Posted .The JCA379 will not work for a Nintendo Switch. A computer must support DisplayPort Mode and Power Delivery over USB-C. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.

Because the JCA379 is a plug and play model, it requires that your computer, phone, or tablet support charging and DP alt-mode via USB-C; in the case where the USB-C on your device does not support such feature, the JCA379 will not fully work for you. However, computers must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0 for the USB-C to HDMI & USB 3.0 with Power Delivery to be compatible. Posted .If you are using high-powered USB devices, attach the USB-C power adapter to the power delivery port to ensure maximum performance. When using your USB-C power adapter, the multi-adapter powers both the adapter (with attached peripherals) and your laptop.

It's a gorgeous product that also does a great job. She uses it every day so far and adores it.
