This adapter is great for MacBook computers. it will add an HDMI port a USB a port and you will not lose your USB C charging port. This adapter allows for passthrough charging from a USB C power adapter. We're glad you're happy with this product.

Apple is out in front of the rest of the industry in their adoption of the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port. However there are still a very large number of USB-A devices that people still use regularly. Some kind of adapter or dock is almost a necessity while the rest of the industry plays catch up.

Works well, but too big overall

While functional, it is overall a bit big for my small laptop, so becomes a bit cumbersome from a functionality standpoint. Other than that, it does work right away as soon as you plug it in.

Limited hub capability

But beware that it will not recognize data over USB-C. Which is disappointing. Keep in mind that 3 stars is average rating. Not bad. But not pushing the envelope in cost or technology.
