On paper it should work since the switch requires displayport over usb-c but alas, it does not work. I think it has something to do with this adapter using displayport alternate over usb-c but I'm not knowledgable enough to figure it out.It does work on both my MacBook and my iPad so I guess that's nice. I already threw away the packaging so I think I'm stuck with it:(

Posted .The USB-C to HDMI & USB 3.0 with Power Delivery requires a computer, tablet or mobile phones to support DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C. The Nintendo Switch 1 or 2 does not support DP Alt Mode. I believe the version 3 might have that feature. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. Only doing text and office like functions on the monitor driving it. YouTube works fine on it too. Co-workers have successfully added additional monitors to various windows machines with this as well.

Its a bit bigger that the last one I had for an earlier version iPad but it works and that is what is important. It looks exactly like the adapter by Apple but was about half the price.

Will see if it works in 2 weeks when cancer treatments are in recess . If unit is not apt.for my t.v. I've lost the purchase money . Hopefully it'll work .

No usb c operation for extra screen

I have another of these and thought it was broke, but i guess it is my monitor. The HDMI and USB drives work well.

Posted .The USB-C power-in port on the Adapter is to allow pass-through charge when a power-brick up to 100W is connected, not intended to add another display. For pass-through charge to function, your device must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. Thank you.
