Great dock

Use this with my 2019 16” MacBook Pro and have had no issues. Build quality is good and the power pass through is a nice addition so when plugging the laptop into the dock only requires one thunderbolt

Bought $3000 laptop and the salesperson was so nervous he didn't recommend something like this so I had to drive through the snow back to best buy and get one because Walmart didn't have any.

The only thing I want to point is the instructions on setup are not clear, so they can do better on it. But it works great.

The new computers do not come with all the necessary ports so this is great! It gives me all the connections I need for monitors, external hds, and jump drives.

I’m confused as to why it doesn’t work.

It's great but lacking

I suspect the drivers may not match up exactly as the old one. I had some issues installing drivers and has to contact j5create support and walk through a bunch of steps.

Felt a little flimsy when I got it out of the box but that's irrelevant. All the connections are solid. Everything I've plugged into it works like it should. Recommend.

Failed to work w/ 2 laptops, returning in the morn
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to run two monitors on two different laptops: 1 personal, 1 work. On the personal laptop (an older Win 10 machine with dedicated nVidia graphics, Core i7, 16GB RAM, etc) the dock failed to recognize the correct native display resolution on one monitor and didn't recognize the second at all. This was after several manual driver uninstall/reinstall cycles. On the work laptop it got one monitor recognized correctly, but wouldn't see the other. My recommendation, try something else, like a Belkin. I have one of those at the office and it works great.

It even has an outlet for your speakers, in case you have an old system with wired speakers. Plenty of places to plug in and have 3 monitors.

Posted .Because the JCD543 has different capabilities, it makes a popular choice. Adding up to three monitors along with more ports for peripherals makes this a one of a kind.

Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station requires an installation of a driver for the VGA and the stand alone HDMI port. Drivers are located on j5create website under the "Support" tab. Please use VGA to VGA cables or HDMI to HDMI cables. We cannot guarantee functionality with conversion cables. Thank you.

When I first set up the docking station with my system it worked great. One day it would not connect and it has been like that ever since. I have tried new cables, checking my settings and even set everything up from scratch. Tech support has tried to help without any success. When I plug into the docking station it says that I don't have enough power and it can not detect the monitors. This has become very frustrating.

Still had open port for another monitor too. It is a little wider than the computer but that’s ok since it sits underneath.
