Works great faster than my other docking stations

I'm glad I did... this docking station interacts with my Apple lap top twice as fast my old station

Heats up extremely high so the feature of using it to lay your laptop is not a good idea. Every port drops connectivity as some point. Today it might be the internet while you're doing a video meeting. Tomorrow when you start up, one of your monitors doesn't come on - unplug and replug, back to work. Do not recommend. Get what you pay for with this one.

Posted .Krstngt, Due to the hybrid nature of the JCD543, not all computers will allow full functionality. The computer needs to support Thunderbolt 3/DP alt-mode for video output; otherwise, you may be limited to how many monitors you may use with the dock. If you are welcome to suggestions for a different model, please contact us at your earliest convenience as we believe the JCD381 may be a good fit for your needs. The first one I purchased made a popping noise and then "died." Bought a second one and ended up giving it to someone else.

I use 2 thru with thus and one additional monitor with my laptop. It works fine. But i wouldn't use it with games

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There is nothing to review, as it doesn't work as described. It costs very little for what it is promises to do, but you always and without exception get what you paid for. Once in a lifetime and maybe not even your lifetime, there comes an anomaly. Believe me when I say that this isn't it. First of all, the basic function of any hub, forget that some Taiwanese national called it a docking station, is supposed to be able to allow for multiple USB devices. My WD easystore worked for about 2 minutes when I first installed this product. After the fluke of it working and being able to detect one of the most common external drives, this hub was never able to see any other drive. After attempting to have my monitor through the HDMI connection, the same one I had to install drivers for, yes, the drivers created by the manufacturer specifically for Windows 10 64 Bit, failed miserably after about 5 minutes, To summarize my experience with this very pretty product, all its features worked for a total of 5 minutes, and I am being generous with that estimate, except for the ethernet adapter, that seemed to work the entire time I was using it. This was after about a 30+ minute wait at the store just to have a couple of questions answered, which were finally answered by a Microsoft employee who had just showed up to work for the store, apparently for some promotion Microsoft had. Why is it that people who have no clue about product they sell, as a rule, end up working at the department that has a prerequisite for having knowledgeable sales people? Do mechanic shops have beauticians servicing cars? I really hope not.

Displayports didn't work

Posted .The DP port on the Dock requires DisplayPort Alt Mode from a computer. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. The DP is a PnP port and requires that feature for video out. If you are using the HDMI under the word "OR", you can only use one or the other. The VGA, Mic, and the stand alone HDMI will need an installation of a driver for proper functionality. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance.
